Teen Girl Murdered After Mocking Friend About FARTING

A teenage girl was beaten to death after a row about FARTING.

Shaakira Dorsey, 16, had allegedly teased another girl about breaking wind when her flatulent friend took offence and attacked her.

Witnesses told police that Shaakira had been mocking the other girl's gassy habits before she was repeatedly beaten.

Shaakira died shortly after the argument, police say, and her unidentified juvenile attacker has been charged with murder.

Police believe the girls had been fighting at Warrensville Heights High School, Ohio, before Shaakira passed out.

The family said that the teen had no pre-existing medical conditions that would cause shortness of breath.

A group of adults, including the stepfather of victim Shaakira Dorsey, watched the two teens fight after Shaakira teased the other girl for passing gas, witnesses told KAIT-TV.

"At the end of my driveway, it's some kids fighting, and it's adults there watching," one person told a 911 operator.

Shaakira's stepfather eventually stopped the brawl. She collapsed and was rushed to a local hospital, where she died. Medical examiners have not released a cause of death.

The girl who is charged with her murder is set to make her first juvenile court appearance Wednesday.

The school released a statement which said: "Warrensville Heights City School District is deeply saddened by the loss of a member of our student family, Shaakira Dorsey, who passed away on Wednesday evening. Shaakira was an eleventh grade student at the High School and a member of the Lady Tigers Softball Team.

"At this time, we are respecting her family's privacy and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers."
