'Skyfall' producer Barbara Broccoli has revealed Adele read the whole script for the latest 007 film before agreeing to take on the song of the same name.
Broccoli, who picked up the Bond baton from her mogul father Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli and has worked on the James Bond franchise since 1983's 'Octopussy', told 'People': "She spent a lot of time working on it and getting it right, but she was worth the wait."
Adele's bold and brassy song, 'Skyfall', which debuted at number four last weekend, looks set for second place in the charts this Sunday.
Mother-to-be Adele teamed up with Paul Epworth, who co-wrote and produced her massive hit 'Rolling In The Deep', to write the song.
