The woman was pulled over with six children in the boot of the Renault Clio, three on the front seat and another 10 in the back!
Melanie Minnie's irresponsibility was captured by a passing photographer in Gauteng, South Africa.
The kids were being taken out for a treat from their nursery to a local burger bar. Police stopped the teacher taking a SECOND group of children back to nursery after receiving a tip-off from a concerned shopper.
The photographer, Nico van Heerden said the children soon became upset.
"They were excited at first but after a while they started to get a more worried and cried," he said.
Ms Minnie said: "This is the first time we went on an outing - and the last time," according to South Africa's Afrikaans language Beeld newspaper. We expect the parents were relieved to hear that!
She told police she had already transported a first group of 12 children in her car. The newspaper said Ms Minnie was fined around £100.
Imagine! How cross would you be if you discovered your little darling had been stuffed in a car boot for a trip to a burger place?
