James Arthur was the stand-out performer on Saturday night's 'X Factor' with his original take on the LMFAO hit 'Sexy And I Know It'.
But the singer has now been accused of ripping off YouTube act Only1Noah.
James' slowed down, acoustic performance of the number one hit was labelled the 'best of the series' by Gary Barlow , but fans have picked up on the fact it bares more than a passing resemblance to the online sensations' rendition, which has had over 13.5million hits since being uploaded five months ago.
One user wrote on Only1Noah's YouTube page: "Please sue X Factor UK for using an "exact" copy of your interpretation/rendition of the song."
Another wrote: "Wow unbelievable that James Arthur sang the same rendition and did not even mention anything about you and took all the credit!!"
However, while fans have been outraged for the lack of credit Noah received on the show, James actually tweeted the internet star after his performance to thank him for inspiring his performance.
James wrote: "thx for the inspiration Noah! Xfactoruk team loved ur version & asked me to put a spin on ur spin (sic)," to which Noah replied: "Thx Gr8 job! (sic)".
