Johnny Depp let his cool image slip for just one night by performing the YMCA at David Furnish's birthday party.
Johnny has a reputation for being one of the coolest men in Hollywood, but even he can't resist throwing some shapes to cheesy tunes at a 50th birthday party.
He was attending the event for Elton John's partner's birthday when he was called up to the dance floor to perform along during the song.
A source told The Sun: "Chi Chi LaRue was DJing and sent a couple of drag queens to pull Johnny on stage to dance to a YMCA mega mix. He didn't hold back and preserved his rock 'n' roll credentials by gripping a glass of whisky."
The routine must have been quite the sight for the assembled guests, which included Victoria and David Beckham, Gwen Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale.
Perhaps Johnny felt like the Village People's line-up needed to include a pirate as well as a cowboy and police officer.

The partygoers included Hugh Hefner and Jay Leno, who described it as the greatest Christmas party he'd ever been to. Money well spent then. Photo: Getty Images

Sultan of Brunei's 50th birthday, July 1996
With the total cost said to be in the region of £16 million, it's not surprising that the Sultan of Brunei's 50th birthday party is believed to be the most expensive ever thrown. Guests at the bash sipped the world's best champagne and nibbled on the costliest caviar on the planet, however, the highlight was a performance by Michael Jackson, for which the late star is said to have pocketed almost £10 million.
