Grandmother Invades Stage, Bundled Off By Security At Microsoft Launch Event

An elderly grandmother reportedly invaded the stage at a Microsoft launch event in China because the noise was keeping her grandson from sleeping.

The woman ran on to the stage at the tech giant's event for the Microsoft Surface tablet in Beijing on Thursday evening, The Register reported.

She was on stage for about 30 seconds before she was dragged offstage by security guards. Her husband was also forcibly removed, according to the video.

Meanwhile the dancers on stage did their best to keep the party atmosphere going, dancing behind, in front of and occasionally around the woman as she protested.

The details of exactly what happened and why are not confirmed, and the Huffington Post was not in attendance.

Microsoft's press team said they were looking into the incident. We will update this story as more information is confirmed.
