The FA Offers Children Chance To Sleep With FA Cup

Fancy Sleeping With The FA Cup?

The FA is giving young fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have a sleepover with The FA Cup as a way of introducing a new generation to the magic of the world's oldest domestic football competition.

Children who visit The FA Cup Trophy Tour which will visit key cities across the country ahead of first, second, third and fourth round fixtures in the 2012/13 season will be chosen at random to win the iconic trophy in their house for the night and drift off to sleep dreaming of the heroes who have lifted The FA Cup before them.

The FA Cup Dreams initiative kicks-off in Birmingham today ahead of the First Round Proper fixtures on Saturday 3 November when the first winning child will be announced and The FA Cup trophy delivered to the family home ahead of the games.

Under-12 year-olds will be given the chance to enter a prize draw as part of The FA Cup Trophy Tour with four opportunities to win a sleepover with The FA Cup trophy before the Fourth Round Proper comes to a close.
