Giroud thanks the Arsenal fans for returning his shirt

The French duo assumed the tie would be replayed at the Emirates Stadium but whereas this happens in the FA Cup, League Cup matches go into extra-time and, if necessary, on to penalties.


The fans got their Arsenal back, Giroud got his shirt back

Luckily for the duo, Arsenal fans were understanding of their predicament and dutifully returned their jerseys to them ahead of the additional 30 minutes.
