When your baby is born, you instantly think he or she is the most amazing, beautiful person ever to have existed. Er, well not one man.
In fact, so appalled was Jian Feng by his 'incredibly ugly baby' he filed for divorce, presuming his beautiful wife must have cheated on him and it was physically impossible for him to have fathered an unattractive baby.
But DNA tests proved he was indeed the father. And Feng's Chinese wife was forced to admit that before they met she'd had over $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery in South Korea. Outraged husband Feng then sued his wife for false pretences. for not telling him about the plastic surgery and supposedly duping him into marriage.
Incredibly, he won. A judge agreed and ordered the ex-wife to pay out $120,000.
"I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had first daughter was we began having marriage issues," he is reported as saying. "Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me."
How's that for a legacy for a child - the baby whose looks broke up her parents' marriage.
