If, like us, you've always wanted to walk around naked in public but fear being arrested or bumping into your Gran, body artist Andy Golub's work will prove particularly appealing.
Covering his subjects head to toe in bright, intricate patterns, he enables them to mingle in everyday situations, naked but not obscene.
Not that it always works. In 2011, Golub tells us, he and his models were arrested for a body painting stunt in New York - though 'falsely', he insists.
When he's not pushing the boundaries of public decency, Golub's work involves en masse body art enhanced using digital manipulation.
"The idea is to use the body as form, stripping away ideas of beauty, status and sexuality associated with the body," he explains via email.
"After completing the painting, I found that there were parts that weren't working with the overall image. So using Photoshop, I began eliminating what I considered to be extraneous parts.
"I ended up removing arms, legs and two of the three models heads! The result is the most surreal bodypainting I have ever done, and one of my most popular."
The 'human murals' are a great example of how the starkness and immediacy of body painting can be merged with modern production methods to create unusual new artworks.
