Movember: Are Men With Moustaches Sexy?

Movember is well and truly underway.

Men across Britain are sprouting moustaches in order to raise funds (and awareness) for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

But as the month goes on and faces get hairier, there is just one question on everyones' lips: are men with moustaches sexy?

Research suggests that just 2% of women prefer their romantic interest to have a moustache, but over half of British women would be more open to romance with a man who grew facial hair for a worthy cause.

So the message is clear gents – if you want to grow a moustache – supporting Movember is your chance.

The subject has polarised the HuffPost UK ladies, a split from which we fear we will never fully recover. Team 'Anti-Moustache' have labelled hairy top lips as "sleazy and seventies" or "wanky", while those in favour of moustachioed gents see them as more masculine than your average baby-faced boy.

Interestingly, we did find common ground when discussing men who sported moustaches without beards. This caused serious offense, with comedy editor Andrea Mann labelling them "hideous".

The consensus seems to be that if you do have to have a moustache, the bigger and bushier it is the better -- think Tom Selleck for a visual cue.

Libby Banks, editor of MyDaily, revealed: "I prefer a full moustache, not a half-arsed one. If it's big enough to hold a baked bean in then it's for me."

There's nothing left to do but put the MoBros to the test.

What do you think of these moustaches?
