Chris Moyles has fallen out with his former sidekick Comedy Dave after allegedly starting up a friendship with Dave's ex-wife Jayne Sharp.
The pair, who presented the Radio 1 breakfast show together alongside Aled Haydn-Jones, Dominic Byrne and Tina Daheley, were well-known for their on-air banter, but things turned sour when Dave found out that Chris had struck up a friendship with his ex-wife.
Dave and Jayne announced they had parted in April 2011 after five years of marriage. The couple have a daughter, Nicole, and stated at the time that the separation was amicable and that no one else was involved.
The fall-out between Dave and Chris was so bad that they had separate leaving parties to mark their ten years of hosting the show.
An insider at the radio station told the Mirror: "It’s very bitter. Dave has got no time for Chris any more, and they hardly spoke except when absolutely necessary. To say there's no love lost would be an understatement. Dave feels totally betrayed. It's a shame. They were best friends for years."
Since Nick Grimshaw took over the presenting role, Chris has gone on to play the role of King Herod in the touring production of Jesus Christ Superstar and has released a new record, The Difficult Second Album, earlier this month.
