There's never usually a bad word said about One Direction around these here parts, but sorry lads, your latest tattoos have forced us to speak out.
We're beginning to think that the boys are deliberately trying to outdo each other with the worst tats ever.

The lads showed off a collection of dodgy tats as they went shopping at Toys R Us in New York yesterday.
Liam has had the chevrons from the One Direction logo etched down his forearm along with some wording on his wrist.
Meanwhile Louis has had 'OOPS!' scribbled next to his stick man tat on his forearm, and the words 'Far Away' on his bicep.

While Louis' tat could mean that his loved ones will be 'Far Away' when 1D embark on an eight month world tour next year, we much prefer the thought of him being such a fan of Belarus' 2010 Eurovision entry that he's etched it onto his body.

One Direction are currently in the Big Apple preparing for a performance on 'The Today Show', which is the same US breakfast show that propelled them to fame in the States earlier this year.
Fans have been camping outside the Rockafeller Center where the show is filmed for two days to ensure they bag a spot to see their idols perform, with the queue stretching around two blocks.
