England captain Steven Gerrard will win his 100th cap on Wednesday after a scan confirmed he suffered no knee ligament damage during Liverpool's Premier League draw with Chelsea on Sunday.
Gerrard suffered a knock late in the 1-1 draw and, after reporting for duty in Manchester, was sent for a precautionary scan by the Football Association.
The scan revealed there was no damage, meaning Gerrard will lead his country into their friendly against Sweden in Stockholm.
Billy Wright, Bobby Moore, Sir Bobby Charlton, Peter Shilton and David Beckham are the five English centurions to date.

Ashley Cole, who could have been marooned on 98 caps after he labelled the FA a "bunch of twa*s", is on 99 but was not selected in Roy Hodgson's experimental squad for tomorrow night.
Gerrard made his England debut against Ukraine in May 2000 and has played for his country at five major tournaments, scoring 19 times.
Having skippered the Three Lions at the 2010 World Cup, he was made full-time captain by Roy Hodgson and led England at the summer's European Championship in Poland and Ukraine.
