PICTURES: Premier League Photographer Of The Year's Best Snaps

Owen Humphreys was yesterday crowned the Barclays Premier League Photographer of the Season.

The 39-year-old submitted five images from the 2011-2012 season, all of them taken at Newcastle United's St James's Park.

An elated Daniel Sturridge features in the first snapshot, having scored Chelsea's final goal in their 3-0 win on Tyneside in November last year...

Humphreys' second, from the same game, is of then Chelsea coach André Villas-Boas and his coaching staff animatedly enjoying Salomon Kalou's strike for the Blues' 2-0 lead...

The third is of Papiss Cissé savouring his clincher for Newcastle in their 2-0 win against Bolton on Easter Monday this year...

Shola Ameobi aims high at former Arsenal midfielder Alexandre Song from the clubs' opening game of the Premier League campaign...

And the final patterned image comes from the Magpies' 3-0 win over Stoke in April this year...
