Ann Widdecombe has returned to the 'Strictly Come Dancing' floor with an angelic performance, alongside another show veteran, Russell Grant

The pair rejoined their professional partners Anton Du Beke and Flavia Cacace in a one-off performance to be screened on Friday for BBC One's Children In Need.

Both contestants were noted for a series of hilarious stunts during their stints on the show to make up for their dance floor shortcomings and once again they are involved in comic routines.

The pair drop down into the studio on wires, dressed as angels, behind Anton and Flavia, as they appear for a musical medley.

Ann is dragged around the dance floor by Anton, recreating one of her most memorable moments in front of judges Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.

She said: "To reunite with Anton for another Strictly dance is fantastic, but to do a group dance with Russell Grant and Flavia Cacace too is even better.

"It was a lot of fun to do and we scaled some dizzy heights for the great cause that is BBC Children In Need."

Russell said: "To be dancing with Flavia once more is a Strictly dream come true."

The Children In Need broadcast begins at 7.30pm on Friday.
