Halo 4 might have only been out for a week, but it's already taken the gaming world by storm.
Not only has it become the biggest entertainment launch of the year in financial terms, it's also responsible for one of the biggest drains on humanity's most precious resource: time.
According to the official Halo Waypoint blog, more than one million people have already completed the single player campaign.
In total that's 13.5 million hours of gameplay - just for the campaign.
But overall the total is much higher. Overall, 31.4 million hours were spent playing Halo 4 in the first five days of its launch.
More amazingly is the total number of kills made in-game so far.
That's right - almost the equivalent of two thirds of the population of Earth have been slaughtered in Halo 4 since the game was released.
