One of Scotland's most successful living painters, Jack Vettriano, has painted a new work with the aim of helping charities from his homeland.
'Night-time Rituals II' is expected to help raised up to £100,000 when it is sold as part of an auction at The Aberdeen Asset Management Great Scot Awards on Tuesday 27 November.
Vettriano made headlines in 2007 when his best-known painting 'The Singing Butler' sold at Sotheby's for almost £750,000 to mystery phone bidder.

The new work has been described by Jean-David Malat, the renowned art critic and collector, as 'a safe investment'.
"Vettriano's art is something that won't go out of fashion as it is very classical, as well as being already in important collections and museums," he said.
The Great Scot Awards celebrate the best in Scottish achievements, from culture and the arts through to fashion and sport.
Last year Annie Lennox accepted an award and at this year's show, Mylo, Tallia Storm and Lorraine Kelly are expected to appear alongside some of Scotland's successful Olympians.
