I'M A CELEBRITY: Hugo Taylor Faces Down His Fears, And Wins Nine Meals For His Campmates

I'M A CELEBRITY: Hugo Finally Gets Campmates' Approval

For Hugo Taylor, the most confined space he's used to is the back of a London taxi on the way to a night club. As he confided to presenters Ant and Dec, "I can't even go on the tube."

So he probably wasn't the best 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' contestant for the Savage Sewer bush tucker trial; nonetheless he was determined to "get in, get on, get out" (that's not getting annoying... much.)

And he managed it, clambering through a series of underground pipes in search of stars, with pythons, King Toads, lizards, crabs and rats for company, and enough grot, water and sewage to make sure that the cleanest boy in camp went home with his shirt properly grotty.

But he also had nine stars in his pocket, which meant he'd earned nine meals for his bush mates and, finally, their respect.

He even apologised to them for not managing to get past his pet hate - spiders - but he'd done plenty, and confided to the Bush Telegraph, "it's good to have their approval."
