Twitter Jokes Of The Week: Week 47 (Of 52)

Jokes Of The Week

Welcome to the end of the week that was. The week that America celebrated Thanksgiving, and a few people in the Church of England celebrated the vote against women bishops. The week that the police charged Rebekah Brooks and Andy Coulson (again), and BBC staff charged their glasses (see what we did there?!) to celebrate the appointment of Tony Hall. The week that Roberto Di Matteo left Chelsea, David Beckham left LA Galaxy, and the last typewriter to be made in Britain left the factory.

Yes, it was indeed a momentous week, even without Gary Barlow receiving his OBE. And as usual, we've rounded up some of the tweets that made us LOLoutloud about all of the above - plus prisoner mentors, Iain Duncan-Smith, Children In Need, the Middle East and more.

And we give thanks for all the tweeters who make us smile every day. Now, let's carve that turkey! Oh, wait. We're a day late. And we're not American. Still, only 31 days til Christmas!
