Up to 124 people have been killed in a blaze that ripped through a clothes factory in Bangladesh on Saturday night, reports the Independent.
The fire in the Tazreen Fashion seven-storey building on the outskirts of the capital, Dhaka, forced 12 workers to jump to their deaths from the upper floors.
According to the BBC, the blaze was brought under control by Sunday morning and one hundred bodies had been recovered from inside the factory.
A large crowd of anxious relatives had gathered outside waiting for news, reports the Guardian.
Bangladeshi officials suspect an electrical fault was responsible for the blaze.
