Chris Maloney has been accused of a violent attack on a former fellow cruise ship performer after the pair had a row.
Former cruise performer Jeanette Galbraith told the Sunday Mirror that The X Factor star once grabbed her by the neck after the pair argued.
Jeanette and Chris were the leads in the evening show on the ship and shared a cabin together, but despite getting along well at first Jeanette claims she became increasingly annoyed by the TV star's attitude.
Jeanette claims Chris trashed the bathroom of their cabin - and alleges he flipped when she gave him some home truths.
Jeanette told the newspaper: "Suddenly he flipped. His face totally changed. It was like he was someone else. His eyes started to burn red and he began shouting. He lunged towards me and grabbed me around the throat. I screamed and tried to get him off. Somehow I managed to get loose and ran out of the cabin, crying. I cried for hours that night."
Chris was allegedly asked to leave when they docked in Barcelona but he has denied he attacked Jeanette.
