EastEnders' star Charlie Brooks burst into tears on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! last night after discovering she'd missed out on a cuddle with her seven-year-old daughter, Kiki.

Mean telly bosses had lined up loved ones to meet the jungle-bound stars - but only if they chose the right door that family and friends were hiding behind.

Unfortunately, popular actress Charlie made the wrong choice - and missed out on seeing her Mini-Me little girl.

When Charlie found out that David Haye and Rosemary Shrager spent some time with their loved ones, she was left distraught.

The contestants had been asked to play a game called Door to Door where they had to pick a coloured door to see if they had a treat behind.

Charlie and her partner Eric Bristow's game ended quickly after turning down the laundry behind the green door, they chose the blue door and found a 'game over' sign.

David and Rosemary initially picked the same shabby coloured door to find the freshly-laundered clothing.

But the pair decided to turn the 'treat' down and picked the yellow door to find David's mother and Rosemary's daughter behind it.

After returning to camp the pair told their fellow housemates about their special treat and Charlie was particularly distraught.

With tears in her eyes she said: "This is heartbreaking. Yellow's my favourite colour she would have been thinking 'mummy would pick yellow'."

She added: "It's fine, I just can't believe she was there, that's what's got me more than anything. It doesn't matter that we didn't get it, it was just that she was so close."

Later in the Bush Telegraph, Charlie said: "I'm really glad I didn't get the pizza. I'm really glad that I didn't get anything because if I'd sat there and enjoyed something knowing afterwards that she was there whilst I was going 'this is the best prize' I think I would have felt even worse."

She was later seen saying: "Kiki I'm so sorry."
