Lady Gaga has emerged the triumphant purchaser of Michael Jackson's fabled glove, after spending $190,000 to buy the item at auction.
The pop star tweeted on Sunday that she bought 55 pieces in total, from the sale administered by Julien's Auctions.

She said she plans to keep the items "archived and expertly cared for in the spirit and love of Michael Jackson, his bravery and fans worldwide".
Other items sold by auctioneer Darren Julien included the jacket worn by Jackson during his 'Bad' tour - sold for $240,000 - and other gloves, jackets and performance costumes.
The profits reached more than $5 million in total, with a portion of this amount going to Guide Dogs of America and the NAthan Adelson Hospice of Las Vegas.
