Kelly Osbourne set a trend when she died her hair purple, and the latest celeb to follow suit is Little Mix's Perrie Edwards who debuted her new rinse on Sunday night.

She jetted out to New York to support boyfriend Zayn Malik and showed off her new 'do as One Direction prepared to play Madison Square Garden.

The couple are rarely seen out in public together but snappers caught them on a night out to see 'Elf' on Broadway before heading out for dinner.

They were joined on their date night by Zayn's bandmate Liam Payne and his ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer.

The recently reunited couple showed they were back on track as they stepped out arm in arm, silencing rumours he had secretly been romancing Leona Lewis.

The boys then went on to play the biggest gig of their careers so far at Madison Square Garden last night.

Just before the band took to the stage, Harry tweeted: “Thinking about what we were doing three years ago... Today we play Madison Square Garden. We can never say thank you enough. We love you .xx”
