Anyone who's ever had to give a speech at a wedding knows the whole thing can be pretty daunting. Quite apart from anything else, there's the challenge of holding everyone's attention and ensuring nobody nods off face-down in their profiteroles.
The solution? It's really quite simple, actually. Get as many people as possible involved in an awesome rendition of a hit musical number. Those who are singing will, of course, be waiting for their cue. And those that aren't will be both entertained and slightly concerned that they're the only ones not in on the plan. Either way, you've got everyone glued.
