Bradford City have been reinstated into the FA Cup after they successfully appealed a decision to remove them for fielding an ineligible player in their second round tie with Brentford.
The Bantams did not have the "necessary written permission" to field Curtis Good, on loan from Newcastle United, in the competition.
However the FA acknowledged "a genuine administrative error of notification" after Bradford argued "unreasonable or excessive" grounds to expel them from the tournament.
Instead the Bantams have been fined £1,000 and their second round replay with Brentford will go ahead on Tuesday at Griffin Park.
The decision comes after the League Two side knocked out Arsenal of the League Cup on Tuesday night to progress to the semi-finals of the tournament.
Bradford drew 1-1 with their League 1 Brentford at Valley Parade, a match in which Good completed 90 minutes. James Hanson's second-half strike earned Bradford a replay after he cancelled out Clayton Donaldson's opener.

In 1999, West Ham were ordered to replay their League Cup quarter-final with Aston Villa after they fielded Emmanuel Omoyinmi - who was deemed ineligible - in the original tie. Villa won the rematch 3-1 in extra-time.
