Katy Perry and John Mayer have been on and off more times than we can remember, but things finally look to be going steady for the couple as they have made their first official public outing together.
Having dated briefly back in 2009, the pair got together again in July following Katy's split with Florence + The Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, but called things off a few weeks later, before quickly reuniting. Phew!
And last night, they went public as they attended A Christmas Story: The Musical at New York City's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
Katy and John were all smiles as they posed with members of the cast and a special festive friend - Santa Claus.
Their appearance together also marked the one year anniversary of Katy's split with ex husband, Russell Brand.
She recently admitted the divorce had made her less reliant on men to make her happy.
She told The Mirror: "I've learned I'm in a very modern fairy tale. But I also know I don't need the Prince Charming to have a happy ending. I can make the happy ending myself. Being in love is the dream. But the reality of making it work is not like the movies."
