HRH Duchess of Cambridge delighted the audience at this year's Sports Personality of the Year with a short live appearance on stage.

All eyes were on the pregnant royal, who looked composed in a floor-length emerald-green dress, standing on the stage next to David Beckham while Coe made his emotional speech, followed by Bradley Wiggins' cheekier one.

The Duchess had not been seen in public since leaving the King Edward VII Hospital in London on 6 December.
