Lady Gaga joined the Rolling Stones on stage on Saturday night, as the band continued to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

The 'Born This Way' singer duetted on the band's 1969 single 'Gimme Shelter' with frontman Mick Jagger, at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Bruce Springsteen and The Black Keys also performed at what was the final scheduled performance of the Stones' '50 And Counting' run of gigs.

The band kicked off with 'Get Off Of My Cloud' and then played 'The Last Time', 'It's Only Rock 'N' Roll (But I Like It)' and 'Paint It, Black' before introducing Gaga.

The rock legends played two concerts in London last month and Saturday's show was the last of three dates in the US.

The anniversary tour sold out in minutes but some fans have been angered by the high ticket prices.
