A man has died after a crash on the M1 motorway.
Police were called to an accident involving three cars on the southbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 33 and 34 near Sheffield on Tuesday night.
Another person was seriously injured in the accident, in which a car left the main carriageway and ended up on its roof, the BBC said.
Officers from South Yorkshire Police closed the roads while investigations into the cause of the crash were carried out.
