Dannii Minogue Snubs Simon Cowell To Take On New TV Judging Role On Britain And Ireland's Next Top Model

Dannii Snubs Simon To Take On New TV Judging Role

Dannii Minogue has shown Simon Cowell who's boss by signing up for another TV judging role - just weeks after he reportedly approached the star to make a sensational return on The X Factor.

The Aussie pop star-turned-fashion designer has joined the panel of 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' alongside Elle Macpherson and Tyson Beckford.

She says: "I'm ready for the Top Model search and it's great to be returning to UK TV. Messages from fans on Twitter and Facebook over the last few years have been my inspiration to come back for the right opportunity.

"I am brushing up on my model moves and with my highest platform heels on, I am excited to come face to face with (well, maybe look up to) the glamazons of Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model 2013."

She will replace The Hills star Whitney Port, who is leaving the show alongside designer Julien Macdonald.

The announcement is a smack in the face for Cowell, who was reportedly trying to get Minogue back on The X Factor to boost the ailing show's ratings.

"Dannii loves the fashion world and this show is perfect for her."
