RIP one and all (whatever caused it)

It irks me when others speak so callously about addicts -- especially ones whom have succumbed to the disease. Many of the actions of an addict may be inexcusable, but damn their spirits are human. Though it doesn't get the sympathy as the cancers and other terminal illnesses substance abuse is still a disease, and it just wrecks my head when people don't even have empathy for those in the struggle, but that is this life, some have little compassion for others. Their judgmental views are golden as is their own narrow mind. Seeing the struggles of others seem to escape their scope. The souls that have transitioned, I celebrate their lives and mourn their loss. ~GD
