Reaching out from her mother Alicia's womb, baby Neveah grips a doctor's fingers – and becomes an internet sensation.
For this incredible moment was caught on camera by the newborn's dad Randy as she was born via Caesarean section.
Soon after Randy, from Glendale, Arizona, posted the touching photograph on Facebook, it received thousands of hits and more than 3,000 likes.
Describing the incredible moment on October 9 last year, Randy told 3TV News: "The doctor called me over and said, 'Hey, she's grabbing my finger'. So I ran over there and just grabbed the shot and I was just in awe looking at it. It was such an amazing picture."
Ironically, wife Alicia is a professional photographer and owns A Classic Pin-Up photo studio.
She posted the photo on her company Facebook page on Boxing Day for family and friends to see and wrote: "This was 10 weeks ago when I was having my c-section and Dr Sawyer broke my water and my daughter reached up out of my stomach and grabbed the Dr's finger and my hubby caught this special moment."
Much to her surprise, the photo has really captured people's imagination and so far it has had 1,500 shares and 400 comments.
"We didn't think we were going to get such positive feedback. We thought we would get more negative 'that's disgusting'", Alicia said.
"Everybody just thought it was the best thing in the world."
Now 11 weeks old, baby Nevaeh - Heaven spelt backwards – is doing very well and enjoying family life with her parents and and two older siblings.
