Emma Stone Thinks The British Are Foul-Mouthed Boozers. Why Thank You. You Really Are Too Kind.

'Brits Are Foul-Mouthed Boozers'

She might be dating Brit actor Andrew Garfield, but that doesn't mean Emma Stone is fond of all things British, oh no.

Emma Stone: Not a fan of all things British

The actress - who met her boyfriend when they both starred in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' has revealed there are certain things about Blighty that she really can't get her head around... like our love of drinking. Lots. Oh, and the use of the 'C' word. Lots.

"Why is drinking such a big thing in Britain?" she asked Glamour magazine.

"Then there’s the ‘C’ word – the ‘see you next Tuesday’ word – it’s everywhere, peppering every sentence, whereas if you say that word in America it shuts down the whole room."

"And of course there’s all the ‘piss-taking’ you guys do over there…"

Us? Pisstakers? Pfft.

And 'The Help' star also admitted that being famous has led to her feeling super-paranoid about what she looks like.

"It feels like having a private investigator on you or something," she told the magazine. "You find yourself walking around holding your head up like you’re looking in the mirror – and your friends are wondering what’s wrong with you.

"Then I feel like a jerk because half the time there’s nobody there…still, I really don’t want to be caught with a burger all over my face."
