WATCH: Up Close And Personal With A Polar Bear

It's not often you get this close to a hungry polar bear.

But BBC filmaker Gordon Buchanan braved the weather, and something far scarier, to film the 8ft arctic creature in the Arctic Norway.

The MailOnline reports Buchanan endured a 40 minute attack, all the while observing - and filming - through a perspex safety box.
