Could Kate Middleton And Prince William's Baby Share Princess Diana's Birthday?

Could The Royal Baby Share A Birthday With Diana?

Bookmakers are taking bets on whether the royal baby might share a birthday with the late Princess Diana.

The odds of the baby being born on Diana's birthday are 33/1, according to William Hill.

But the baby is more likely to be born in mid-July, and could therefore share a birthday with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, on the 17th July, rather than be born on Diana's July 1st birthday.

The odds are 9/4 for Kate's baby to have his or her birthday in the first two weeks of July, the bookmakers told The Huffington Post UK.

Kate and William's baby is due in July, the Palace has confirmed

Unsurprisingly, odds are the same for a boy or girl, 10/11.

Punters can bet on anything from the weight of the baby, to the day of its birth to the magazine which will get the first exclusive pictures.

The palace appeared to confirm on Monday that Kate is not expecting twins, saying that "a baby" is due in July. The odds on Kate having twins had been slashed by bookmakers, to 11/2, from 33/1.

Spokesman Rupert Adams from William Hill told HuffPost UK: "We have a spat of bets on a cesarean section, then you can literally predict the minute the baby will be born. It's currently 4/6 Cesarean Section and 11/10 for a Natural Birth."

Celebrity magazine Hello are odds-on to get the first pictures, at 6/4, with Nuts or Zoo lads mags 100/1.

The current favourite names are 10/1, on George, Victoria, Diana and Elizabeth. More unusual names, Chardonnay and Waynetta, will get you odds of 1000/1.
