Arsenal Vs. Liverpool On General Sale

Has It Really Come To This?

A Category A game, the seating areas available cost a whopping £89.50 as the Emirates Stadium's extravagant reputation is intensified.

Arsenal could go six points behind fifth-place Everton tonight if the Toffees beat Southampton at St Mary's while Liverpool, in seventh, are level on 34 points with the Gunners having played a game more.

The 30 January fixture falls on a Wednesday night, however Arsenal have previously sold out midweek matches with Liverpool before in the 2008 Champions League quarter-final and a Premier League win three seasons ago.

With nine days until the fixture the likelihood is the club will sell the remaining tickets.

But such is the antipathy towards the club from some supporters they are now finding it difficult to shift tickets for a game consisting two of the one-time 'big four' brigade.
