Alou Diarra Has Never Spoken With Sam Allardyce, Wants To Leave West Ham

'I've Never Had A Conversation With The Manager. I Want To Leave'

Alou Diarra has claimed he has never spoken with West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce and wants to leave the club.

Diarra, 31, joined West Ham from Marseille in the summer for £2m but has spent four months on the sidelines with a thigh injury.

And despite having made his comeback this month, the Frenchman is eager to leave Upton Park.

"Since my arrival (at West Ham), I never spoke with the manager. Everyday is 'bonjour, au revoir'. No dialogue, no explanation," he told L'Équipe.

Diarra has played for West Ham just five times

"I've wasted my time at West Ham. I've never had a conversation with the manager. I want to leave."

Diarra, who spent three years at Liverpool yet never played for the club, started all three of France's Euro 2012 group matches but was dropped for the 2-0 quarter-final defeat to Spain.

He has earned 44 caps for Les Bleus and has won two French league titles with Lyon in 2007 and Bordeaux in 2009.
