Sexy Diet Coke Model Back In New Advert (VIDEO, PICTURES, POLL)

The Diet Coke Model Is Back, Oh How We've Missed Him

Brace yourself ladies (and gentlemen), that Diet Coke advert is back.

Since its first airing back in the early nineties, HuffPost UK Lifestyle have been waiting patiently for the return of that gorgeous, sweaty window cleaner with high cheekbones. But sadly he never arrived.

Today we finally learned that he's been hiding out in the countryside (as window cleaning probably becomes rather tricky when women are constantly grabbing at your sponge).

Thank you Diet Coke

The advert, which marks the 30th anniversary of Diet Coke, follows in the footsteps of its predecessors in tone and style. (See below for a selection of our favourites.)

In case you can't watch videos at work, here's what happens:

It's a hot summer's day and a group of female friends are sat in the park oogling a (beautiful) gardener as he mows the grass.

One of the women has an (incredible) idea and sets a can Diet Coke rolling down the hill where it collides with the lawnmower, explodes and drenches the unsuspecting man.

He has no choice but to remove his T-shirt (in slow-mo, natch) and wring it out, tensing his perfectly-formed muscles.

*Sighs*

We owe a lot to these women

So, to answer the question on everyone's lips: Who is he and where can I find him?

The man in the advert is Andrew Cooper, a model from Manchester. But -- cue collective female sigh -- he's married with two children. Which is great for his family, but rubbish for the rest of us.

Next time Diet Coke, at least give us a guy that's available. This is just upsetting.
