Brit Awards 2013: Muse To Play Small Show For War Child Charity

Muse For Brits Charity Gig

Rockers Muse are to play their smallest show in London for more than 10 years in aid of charity War Child.

The trio, one of Britain's best-selling live acts, will take a night off from filling stadiums to play a concert at the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, which has a capacity of 2,000.

The gig will be Muse's smallest since 1999, when they played to a crowd of 2,000 at the now-demolished London Astoria venue in the British capital.

Frontman Matt Bellamy says, "We are proud to have a continuing association with War Child, who have been doing amazing work over the last 20 years. We are really looking forward to playing this special show for them."

The gig on 18 February comes two days before War Child, which provides aid for young victims in war-torn countries, receives a special recognition trophy at the Brit Awards.

Bellamy and his bandmates could also be celebrating at the prizegiving - Muse is up for best British group and best British live act.

Tickets are available on O2 Presale on Wednesday 30 January via www.ticketmaster.co.uk and 0844 248 5028.
