EXCLUSIVE CLIP: A Surprising Rendition Of 'True Colours'

'Song for Marion' is shortly to make it to our screens.

Hot on the heels of 'Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' and 'Quartet', it looks set to be the latest British cinema offering to claim the silver pound, with its message that older actors, and cinema-goers, still like to enjoy a poignant drama.

As well as a calibre cast including Terence Stamp, Christopher Eccleston and Gemma Arterton, 'Song for Marion' offers the unlikely prospect of Vanessa Redgrave giving us her version of 'True Colours'.

The film tells the story of Arthur, a grumpy pensioner played by Stamp, who begrudgingly joins his wife, Marion’s (Vanessa Redgrave) unconventional local choir. Gemma Arterton also stars as choir director Elizabeth, who sees something special in the reluctant Arthur and refuses to give up on him.

'Song for Marion' is in UK cinemas from 22 February. Watch the trailer below...
