Jennifer Lawrence may be in the running for best actress at tomorrow's Baftas, but the possibility of running into her ex could spoil her evening.
The Silver Linings Playbook star is nominated for her role in the movie and is among the favourites to take one of the gold statues home. But she is also facing every girl's nightmare, as her ex Nicholas Hoult will also be attending. And her co-star Bradley Cooper, who has previously denied any romance with the actress, will also be there.
Nicholas and Jennifer started dating after appearing together in X-Men: First Class in 2010, but split after two years. And Jennifer has been linked with Bradley as the pair have worked together playing a couple, but Bradley has been quick to dismiss the rumours and point out that with the 16-year age gap between them, he is literally old enough to be her father.
A source told The Mirror: "Organisers are trying to avoid a three-way clash on the red carpet. But as Jen and Brad are nominated for the same film, they will probably be seated together. But it might be a good chance for Jennifer to break the ice with Nick as well. They're going to start filming together soon and their wounds still haven't healed."
Hopefully the night won't feature another embarrassing incident for Jennifer this awards season, as she has already had to contend with a wardrobe malfunction when her dress split as she headed up to the stage at the Screen Actors Guild awards.
