Niall Horan has made a very public appeal for a Valentine's Day date this year after seeing Hollyoaks actress Rachel Shenton on TV.
The One Direction singer saw Rachel, who plays Mitzeee in the Channel 4 soap, appearing on This Morning to discuss her character's exit next week.
Niall was clearly watching the show on his day off and took to Twitter to voice his opinion of the actress, writing: "That girl on @itvthismorning is beautiful".
The show's hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford soon picked up on the tweet and told Rachel, and confirmed to Niall that the 25-year-old was indeed single.
Rachel soon got Niall's hopes up by tweeting back a picture of herself holding up a sign with "Hello Niall" written on it, and a row of kisses along the bottom. Niall responded by doing the same, posting a photo of himself with a piece of paper in his mouth that read "Hello Rachel" and a smiley face and kisses drawn underneath.
But unfortunately for Niall the relationship might stall before it has even started, as the Sun reports that Rachel later commented: "He's a bit young for me. What is he, like 12?"
