The reviews for Aliens: Colonial Marines, Gearbox's latest addition to xenomorph lore, are in.
And they're bad. In fact, it's pretty much the worst-reviewed game of the year so far.
Polygon says the game "systematically misses the point" in its 3/10 review, while IGN adds it is plagued by "woeful AI and disappointing story".
But it's not all bad - the game does seem ready to gift the internet with a chance for some amazing GIF humour - as this example below shows.
Watch it all the way through and you should realise why the Aliens in this particular game aren't ones to fear...
