'The Voice' Coach Danny O'Donoghue Forced To Pull Out Of Filming

'The Voice' Suffers A Setback

The Voice has been disrupted as coach Danny O'Donoghue has been forced to pull out of filming due to illness.

The Script singer has been ordered to rest by doctors after contracting a bug, according to The Sun, and the show - which launches on BBC One next month - is still halfway through filming.

The other three coaches - Will.i.am, Jessie J and Tom Jones - were forced to go ahead and record a promo for the new series without the Irish rocker. He will now have to film his part when he is better.

Danny is due to go on tour with The Script next month and so has had to pull out of filming and rest up, to ensure he is better in time.

The coaches have already filmed the blind auditions and the battle rounds, and are about to start recording the new stage - the knockouts.

The new round was introduced by producers in a bid to try and keep viewers interest, after ratings plummeted during the show last year when the live shows began.
