Ed Miliband Happy To Meet Danish PM Helle Thorning-Schmidt (PICTURES)

What Is Ed Saying To Helle?

It's half-term for parliament as well as schools this week. David Cameron has jetted off to India while Ed Miliband is touring northern Europe.

Cameron admitted this morning he did not have enough women in his cabinet, so Miliband looked pretty pleased to sit down to Danish pastries in Copenhagen with prime minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.

The Danish leader, the first woman to hold the post, is also the the daughter-in-law of past British Labour leader Neil Kinnock.

The trip comes as it was confirmed Danish political drama Borgen, which features a female prime minister and became a cult hit in the UK, will have a third series. Although the travelling Westminster press have had their illusions about the programme slightly shattered.

Am told people who work in Danish politics find Borgen simplistic and unrealistic. Perhaps UK could export "Party Animals" to Denmark.
