Sony has newer things on its mind, but while gaming fans wait to get their hands on the next-generation hardware there is still a lot of love for the old school.
All day on Tuesday ahead of Sony's big PS4 reveal, fans have been tweeting their favourite old-school PlayStation memories.
Using the hashtag #PlayStationMemories, gamers have recalled everything from buying their first consoles, marvelling at its - for the time - ridiculously good graphics and fighting over the TV for control of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
