Much like the millions of individuals the event represents, International Women's Day has become a force to be reckoned with since its inception in the early 1900s.
According to the campaign's website, the United Kingdom has more activities planned on Friday, March 8 than any other country and HuffPost UK Lifestyle wanted to mark that wonderful fact with some serious celebration.
