Veronica Mars Film 'Finally Happening,' Says Kristen Bell... If Fans Help Pay For It

Want The 'Veronica Mars' Film To Happen? It'll Cost You!

'Veronica Mars' fans may see their dream come true, with a film starring their favourite teenage heroine on its way... if they're willing to put their hands in their pockets and help it along.

The show's star, Kristen Bell, and its creator, Rob Thomas, have made no secret of their wish to resurrect the Californian teenage detective for the big screen, and now they've launched a Kickstarter campaign...

Would you like to see Veronica Mars on the big screen?

Veronica Mars ran for three seasons, until its cancellation in 2007. Bell told Entertainment Weekly: “I have never fallen so deeply in love with a character.

"We all became so close, and the cancellation of the show left a huge hole in my heart. I would have put on 'Veronica Mars: The Circus' to bring it back.”

Now, Bell and her producer have got behind a campaign to raise $2million in thirty days. If they succeed, Warner Bros will pick up the rest of the tab for marketing and the like. If they don't... it's back to the drawing board for star and fans alike.

But they're confident they'll do it, with a list of rewards in proportion to donations made. Fancy a part in the Veronica Mars film? A snip at $10,000. Find out more here...
